The 2025 season of the Pro Padel League (PPL) kicks off in style with the highly anticipated “First Serve of the Season” event in Miami, taking place from June 19 to 22 at the state-of-the-art Wayfair Arena. This event not only marks the opening matches of the new season but also celebrates a major milestone in padel infrastructure: the competitive debut of the adidas PPL High Competition 2025 court, developed and manufactured exclusively by us at AFP Courts.

Just weeks ago at the Padel World Summit in Barcelona, we revealed this new court to the world. During a ribbon-cutting ceremony held at Court 5 of Fira de Barcelona—joined by international representatives from the PPL, adidas, GS Sports Management, and future host cities like Mexico and Spain—we unveiled a court engineered to set new global standards. Now, in Miami, that same surface will take center stage, showcasing not only elite-level play but the future of professional padel in the USA.
A Court Engineered for High Competition
We designed the adidas PPL High Competition court with one goal: to meet the demands of professional players, coaches, teams, and broadcasters at the highest level of the sport. From its seamless panoramic design—free of corner pillars— to its curved modular linear LED lighting system and full 360º visibility, every element is engineered for top performance, world-class broadcast quality, and fast-paced play.
This isn’t just a court—it’s a competitive platform. Developed with input from athletes, technical experts, and PPL organizers, the design reflects our core philosophy: safety, aesthetics, and innovation in perfect harmony. Our exclusive AFP Turf delivers consistent bounce, optimal grip, and long-lasting durability—trusted by pros and certified by IBV.
At The Summit in Barcelona, visitors stepped onto the court and experienced the difference. Players tested its responsiveness, architects praised its clean and technical design, and broadcasters evaluated its lighting for optimal coverage. Whether you’re courtside or watching from home, the adidas PPL High Competition court sets a new benchmark for professional padel.

PPL Miami: A Showcase of Teams and Talent

Now, all eyes turn to Miami. From June 19–22, the PPL opens its 2025 season at the Wayfair Arena with ten teams from across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico competing on our new court:
- Miami Padel Club
- Toronto Polar Bears
- New York Atlantics
- Las Vegas Smash
- Cancun Waves
- Flowrida Goats
- Houston Volts
- Los Angeles Beat
- Arkansas Matrix
From Thursday’s opening match between Miami and Toronto to the championship final on Sunday, fans can expect four days of intense action —and a true test of the court under elite competition.
Viewers worldwide can tune in via the PPL’s global broadcast network, reaching over 300 million households across 100+ countries, with live coverage also streaming on YouTube.
More Than a Court—A Milestone in Innovation
At AFP Courts, we believe a padel court should do more than serve the game—it should elevate it. The adidas PPL High Competition court is the embodiment our core values: innovation, safety, precision engineering, and aesthetic excellence. From its international debut in Barcelona to its American premiere in Miami, this court is already reshaping what profesional padel should look like.

As the official court provider of the Pro Padel League, we’re proud to support a league that shares our commitment to quality and growth. With events planned throughout the U.S., Spain and Mexico this season, we’ll continue working hand-in-hand with PPL organizers to deliver top-tier courts wherever the sport expands next.
