Sustainability

Our clear priority is to have the most sustainable padel courts and contribute to carbon footprint reduction.

AFP Courts significantly enhances its social impact through a strong commitment to sustainability. By prioritizing reused materials and sustainable manufacturing practices, the company minimizes its environmental footprint while delivering high-quality padel courts.

Sustainable design principles ensure durability and reduced maintenance, supporting long-term use and creating lasting value for communities. Through these efforts, AFP Courts not only contributes to a healthier environment but also raises awareness about responsible practices in sports and recreation.

Restored Aluminium

Our clear priority is to have the most sustainable Padel courts and contribute to the carbon footprint reduction. Profiles and pillars are produced with 100% recyclable Hydro RESTORE aluminum to ensure the durability and robustness of the padel court.
Our courts are manufactured from pre-used or post-used junk up to 80% and primary aluminum up to 20%. Aditionally, our product is 100% (infinitely) recyclable.

Re-used Water for the Painting Tunnel

In our painting tunnel, we are committed to sustainability through the implementation of a water reuse system. This process begins with the filtration and decantation of used water, removing solid particles and contaminants to ensure its reuse. We also employ chemical treatments that facilitate the coagulation of waste, allowing us to recover cleaner water.

Our recirculation system enables treated water to be reintroduced into the painting process, while we conduct regular quality tests to ensure it meets necessary standards. Additionally, we have installed aerosol capture systems that minimize water contamination, further facilitating reuse.

Powder coating

Powder coatings are safe, clean, economical, and environmentally friendly. They are solvent-free, have low fire risk, are lead-free, and allow for easy waste disposal. No hazardous materials are used during cleaning, and there are no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or toxic heavy metals such as lead or chromium (VI). There is no residual paint from the spray booth, and the high application efficiency allows for up to 99% use, with excess spray being reusable. This process improves productivity and can easily form high film thicknesses of up to 150 microns in a single layer, offering high durability and a reduced carbon footprint.

Nebulization system

The nebulization system for passivation allows for tailored adjustments, thanks to integrated control instruments and dosing. This system uses nanotechnological products to avoid waste and ensures that the piece being treated applies a solution that constantly maintains the chemical quality of the product. NEBULA significantly reduces water consumption by the filter, keeps the conductivity and pH of the water constant, and adjusts the maximum cohesion of the solution applied to the surface of the treated metal.

Efficient Generation of Electrical Energy from Renewable Sources

The photovoltaic generator installation includes photovoltaic modules, inverters, wiring, protections, groundings, and energy dumping into the internal network. The supporting structure, designed to withstand wind and snow loads per the Technical Building Code, allows for thermal expansion without compromising module integrity. Modules are fastened per manufacturer instructions to prevent bending. The distance between modules is optimized to minimize shadows and maximize performance, ensuring no structural elements cast shadows on the modules.
