Key information about AFP Courts and how we manufacture and supply padel courts worldwide.

What types of padel courts does AFP Courts manufacture?

AFP Courts is an international padel court manufacturer headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. With more than 20 years of experience, the company provides engineering, manufacturing, project support and international logistics for professional padel projects.

AFP Courts is the licensed manufacturer of adidas padel courts, the manufacturer of redsport courts and the official court manufacturer for the Pro Padel League. Its courts have been supplied for sports clubs, hotels, resorts, private developments, public facilities and professional competitions around the world.

AFP Courts manufactures three main types of padel courts:

  • Pillar courts, designed to provide structural stability and long-term performance.
  • Panoramic courts, developed to maximise visibility for players and spectators.
  • Competition courts, created for professional events, high-level clubs and broadcast environments.

The adidas and redsport ranges include models for both indoor and outdoor installations. Courts can also be configured with AFP Turf, lighting systems, protective padding, nets, ball-catcher extensions, sliding doors and other equipment according to the requirements of each project.

AFP Courts is a padel court manufacturer committed to designing and producing courts that comply with the technical and regulatory requirements of each market. Through its ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, AFP Courts ensures that its manufacturing processes follow controlled procedures focused on consistency, traceability and continuous improvement. Depending on the installation location, court model and project specifications, AFP Courts applies the relevant local, European and international standards to guarantee safety, performance and durability.

Applicable standards and certifications include:

  • Quality management system: Certified under ISO 9001:2015, an internationally recognised standard that defines quality management requirements and ensures a structured approach to manufacturing processes, quality control and continuous improvement.
  • Padel court regulations: Compliance with specific padel court standards such as UNE 147201, which establishes functional requirements, safety criteria, testing procedures and inspection methods for padel courts.
  • International padel requirements: Consideration of FIP (International Padel Federation) requirements related to court dimensions, characteristics and conditions applicable to professional and competition environments.
  • European standards and technical requirements: Application of relevant EN standards for court components, materials and safety requirements according to the characteristics of each installation.
  • United States market requirements: For projects installed in the US, AFP Courts adapts its engineering solutions to applicable American regulations, including structural design requirements such as ASCE 7-22 for wind, seismic and environmental load considerations.
  • Artificial turf systems: Use of artificial turf solutions developed for padel applications and tested according to applicable performance requirements, including UNE 147301:2018 for artificial grass surfaces used in padel courts.
  • Safety glass panels: Use of tempered safety glass solutions complying with relevant glazing standards, including EN 12150 and, when required for US projects, ANSI Z97.1 safety glazing requirements.
  • Lighting systems: Integration of lighting solutions designed for padel court applications and complying with the applicable electrical and safety requirements, including CE and RoHS requirements for European projects and UL 1598 for specific US installations.
  • Structural protection and accessories: Selection of materials, protective treatments, fasteners and accessories according to the technical specifications of each project to ensure long-term resistance, safety and performance.

AFP Courts combines in-house engineering, industrial manufacturing, recognised court brands, international project experience and technical support throughout the supply process.

The company controls the core stages of court development, including structural design, manufacturing, welding, protective treatments, coating, quality checks, packing and logistics preparation. This provides greater control over the consistency, traceability and technical suitability of each court.

AFP Courts also offers adidas and redsport pillar, panoramic and competition models, allowing each project to be matched with the most suitable court according to its use, location, visual requirements and operating model.

AFP Courts has manufacturing facilities in Lliçà de Vall and Les Franqueses del Vallès, in the Barcelona area of Spain.

These facilities bring together the company’s technical office, structural manufacturing, welding, surface treatment, electrostatic painting, quality control, packing and logistics operations. Court components are inspected, identified and prepared at the production facilities before international dispatch.

This in-house industrial capability enables AFP Courts to manage the main manufacturing stages and prepare each supply according to the technical and logistical requirements of the project.

AFP Courts has manufactured and installed more than 5,306 padel courts across 63 countries.

Its international portfolio includes single-court installations, multi-court clubs, hotel and resort facilities, real estate developments, corporate venues and courts created for professional competition.

This experience covers projects with different climates, regulatory requirements, installation environments and operating models.

When comparing padel court manufacturers, assess their engineering capabilities, production facilities, certifications, technical documentation, international references and experience with projects similar to yours.

The proposed court must also be suitable for its final location. An outdoor court may require specific anti-corrosion treatments and structural calculations for local wind conditions, while an indoor court will have different environmental requirements.

A professional proposal should clearly define:

  • The court model and structural configuration.
  • The materials and protective treatments.
  • The glass, turf and lighting specifications.
  • The included equipment and accessories.
  • The manufacturing and delivery schedule.
  • The transport and installation scope.
  • The civil works requirements.
  • The responsibilities of each project partner.
  • The technical and after-sales support provided.

AFP Courts assesses these factors before recommending a court model and configuration for each project.

Contact the AFP Courts team and provide the main details of the project:

  • Country and project location.
  • Number of courts required.
  • Indoor or outdoor installation.
  • Intended use of the facility.
  • Available dimensions and site conditions.
  • Relevant wind or environmental exposure.
  • Preferred court type or model.
  • Required equipment and accessories.
  • Target opening or delivery date.

The technical and commercial teams will review the information and prepare a tailored proposal covering the recommended court configuration, technical specifications, manufacturing schedule and logistics requirements.
